Platypus Fitness offers a variety of classes. From Kick Boxing to Step, Spin to Pilates, we offer classes to fit your fitness needs and fitness level.
Class Descriptions:
BOOT CAMP/ BOXING – Get ready for jump rope, boxing, push-ups, squats..just overall head to-toe conditioning. 60 min.
PUMP & SPIN - Sports drills, resistance training with weights and tubes, plus a variety of military style high energy activities..and you guessed it..we've added spinning to this heart pounding class. 60 min.
KICK BOXING - T.K.O kickboxing is a high energy aerobic class that combines traditional kickboxing and self defense techniques with bag work. 60 min.
STEP - Traditional step aerobics with easy to follow moves. It's great for beginners as well as the experienced stepper!! 60 min.
STRENGTH & TONE - Step aerobics for all fitness levels that includes body firming exercises that help tone. 60 min.
STEP/DANCE – Step aerobics that combines some of your favorite dance moves to help you have fun and lose weight!! 60 min.
IINTERVAL STEP & SCULPT - Step training combined with endurance training set in interval segments, along with muscle conditioning. 60 min.
YOGA - 60 minutes of exploring the mind/body connection. Stress reduction, flexibility, and strength enhancement are just some of the benefits you will receive.
PILATES – Floor based sculpting class which focuses on the abdomen, lower back, hips, and glutes. This class strengthens and lengthens the muscles while minimizing stress on joints. 60 min.
STEP/UPPER BODY SCULPT - Step aerobics combined with muscle conditioning targeting the upper body.
STEP/LOWER BODY SCULPT – Step aerobics combined with muscle conditioning targeting the lower body.
MEMBERS CHOICE - Members decide what type of aerobic activity they would like to do.
SILVERSNEAKERS® - This class offers exercises for the upper and lower body designed to increase strength, range of movement, and activities for daily living.
